The Club Managers Association of America has awarded the Master Club Manager designation to Chaplin alumnus, Carlos W. Cook Jr.

Cook, who is currently working as the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of the North Hills Club in Raleigh, North Carolina, is one of only 22 CMAA members to achieve the designation since its development in 1990.

In addition to making significant, long-lasting contributions to their clubs, communities and professions, Master Club Managers must make a significant written contribution to their industry through the research and development of an MCM Monograph. Cook’s monograph is titled Aquatic Risk Management and Best Practices for Clubs.
