“With cooperation from AVI-SPL, we focused on providing our students with the collaborative technology that would give them an edge in the job market,” said Dale Gomez Director of University Computer Systems at the Chaplin School. “What we now have is a space where video and audio technology helps faculty keep track of student performance, brings remote locations together for distance learning, and gives students an advantage over their counterparts at other schools,” he added.
The School won in the Best Higher Education Project category and winners were selected based on innovation, functionality, competitive advantages, and benefits to the installer.
The BEST Awards recognize the most noteworthy new products and technologies for the year. The Integration Awards, presented by Commercial Integrator and Tech Decisions, recognize stand-out, problem-solving installations that address customers’ needs. Winners were chosen in 10 categories by the editors of Commercial Integrator and Tech Decisions. Each entry was judged on the benefits that the integrated technology would have for the intended user, as well as the innovation demonstrated.
