Chaplin school alumni Humberto “Burt” Cabañas ’76 (left) and Ed Mugnani ’91 (right) will both be recognized at the 14th Annual Torch Awards to be held on Saturday, March 28 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach.
The Torch Awards are presented to distinguished alumni and influential members of the community. The awards represent the highest honor conferred by FIU to a graduate. Mr. Cabañas and Mr. Mugnani join an elite group of FIU torchbearers, leaders who exemplify the best of the University and serve as an inspiration to all.
